Roads, lanes get inundated with rain water in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, September 4, 2014: No doubt, rain brought cheer to many people. At the same time it created troubles for people. Most of roads and lanes were seen inundated with rain water. As a result, two-wheelers and pedestrians were to suffer a lot. Even electric supply got interrupted in many areas, adding problems to local residents. The most affected areas included Transport Nagar, Service Lane near Pathankot Chowk and Preet Nagar near Sodal Chowk. It happens during every rainy season.
