Jalandhar, December 9, 2012: The Indian Cricket team tasted humiliation Test defeat at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The Cricket Lovers are in dilemma in regard to the performance of the cricket players on home ground. There are different opinions and visions of different categories in regard to the performance of the Indian Cricket Team.
Advocate Diwan Chand Mohindru was of the opinion that the Indian Cricket team needs overhauling. When asked about Sachin Tendulkar he told that he should not be replaced at present because he was a great Batsman.
Another city resident, Ashwani Bansal said that Sachin played cricket in the past but the performance of the Indian cricket team had really put the Indian deads in shame with humiliation defeat from England Cricket Team.
Sports Dealer Sunil Chowdhary said that it was not expected what had happened, even though Indian Cricket team was the best in the World and “the need of hour is to bring certain changes in the team squad”.
Still, Rajesh Seth, a city resident, said sometimes it happened in cricket when the players were out of form. He said the selectors of the Indian cricket team should review replacement of some players.
It may be mentioned here that except Ashwin, no other Indian batsmen performed well. This is evident from the performance of the big guns such as; Cheteshwar Pujara (8), Sachin Tendulkar (5), Yuvraj Singh (11), Virat Kohli (20) and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (0).
