AIRTEL ODI series: Timings of some of matches revised

Dharamsala, December 19, 2012: England cricket team shall play a 5- ODI series against India in India from 11th January 2013 to 27th January next.

This year Northern parts of the country are experiencing the early winter. So the timings of some of the matches in this AIRTEL ODI series between India and England, have been revised.

According to the BCCI release reached here, the first four matches, to be played at Rajkot, Kochi, Ranchi and Mohali, respectively, will commence at 12:00 pm.

The session-wise timings will be as follows:

12:00 to 3:30 pm     (First Session)

3:30 pm to 4:15 pm  (Interval)

 4:15 pm to 7:45 pm   (Second Session)

According to letter of Sanjay Jagdale, Honorary Secretary, BCCI the timings of the day-night matches have been revised, to counter the ‘dew’ factor and ensure the best playing conditions for both teams.

The last ODI, shall be played at Dharamsala, the ground was under snow in January this year and as this hill station is just adjacent to the Snow Range ‘The Dhouladhar’, the last ODI here will commence at 9:00 am.

The session-wise timings will be as follows:

 09:00 am to 12:30 pm (First Session)

 12:30 pm to 01:15 pm (Lunch)

 01:15 pm to 04:45 pm (Second Session)
