Chandigarh, September 30, 2015: The Punjab Government has issued a notification regarding appointments of Administrator Rehabilitation and Resettlement for Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition.
Disclosing this here an official spokesman said that under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 Administrator is required to be appointed for execution & monitoring of the Rehabilitation & Resettlement Schemes.
Keeping in view the provision of the Act ibid, Government has appointed all the Sub Divisional Magistrates in the State as Administrator Rehabilitation and Resettlement within their respective jurisdiction.
