Punjab Government revised number of seats in diploma level courses

Chandigarh, February 5, 2015: The Punjab Government has revised the number of seats in the diploma level courses in the colleges affiliated with the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training.

Stating this, a spokesperson of the Government said that the revision in the intake is for the academic session 2014-15. According to the spokesperson, the intake in electrical and mechanical engineering streams in Sant Baba Prem Singh Memorial Government Polytechnic College, Begowal was 12 in 2nd shift while there was no intake in 1st shift previously. But now, the intake in 1st shift has been increased to 12 while there is no intake in 2nd shift.

In Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Government Polytechnic College, Ranwan in the streams of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering there was intake of 12 in 2nd shift while there was no intake in 1st shift  previously. But now, the intake in 1st shift has been increased to 12 while there is no intake in 2nd shift.

Further elaborating, the spokesperson said that in Shaheed Nand Singh Government Polytechnic College, Bareta in the disciplines of Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering there was intake of 12 in 2nd shift while there was no intake in 1st shift previously. But now, the intake in 1stshift has been increased to 12 while there is no intake in 2nd shift.
