World Health Week Celebrations take place at Innocent Hearts School, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, April 8, 2015: World Health Week is celebrated at Innocent Hearts with zeal and fervour. On the very first day of the week, a special assembly was conducted which began with the Morning Prayer. As it was the first day of the new session the students were welcomed in the school.
During the assembly the science teacher Abhilasha and Meenakshi Sharma gave educative and preventive speech to the students. The aim was to encourage students to focus on their health, healthy lifestyle and principles of nutrition.
The Director Principal School Dheeraj Banati also explained the importance of eating healthy food and keeping oneself clean and tidy to the students and they took the pledge to avoid junk food. In the classrooms also, the teachers shared few tips with the students on personal hygiene and tried to inculcate habits like caring for body and keeping it clean.
