Jalandhar, June 3, 2015: Cambridge International School for Girls concluded its five day Summer Camp which was from May 24 to 29. Summer Camps are important, as these develop Positive Identity, Independence, Leadership, Social skills, adventure and Exploration Skills, in out of the school component. Thus keeping all these in view, the summer camp this year had a range of activities from educational enrichment programs to fun activities to fight the summer boredom blues, the students had myriad activities to choose from. Sports department polished the skills of students in Swimming, Skating, Tennis, Basket Ball and Volley Ball. Students explored the world of Dance, did activities to enhance their understanding about concepts beyond class room teaching and students discovered Science in everyday life, did activities to hone their vocabulary, created various things through craft work and painted things with vegetables and did collage work on Social and Commercial Advertisement. Everything was not only limited to learning but the students even contributed towards the Nepal tragedy by organizing Fancy Dress Competition by Kindergarten students and the money collected through the Planetarium Show, which was immensely liked by the students as it gave them knowledge about the universe.
