Chandigarh, November 28, 2015: The Punjab Government has constituted 18 State Advisory Committees for all the departments so as to streamline its daily activities besides formulating and implementing people-oriented policies,
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that the committees has set up to streamline the day-to-day functioning of the State Government by formulating people-oriented policies and implementing them in an effective manner besides advising the Government on important issues of public interest.
He said that it would be mandatory for the committee to meet once within three months and one meeting of the committee would be held during the session of State Assembly and one meeting must be convened between the two sessions of the Assembly.
