Ultra Marathon Flagged Off From Air Force Station Adampur

Jalandhar, September 12, 2015: To commemorate 1965 indo-Pak War, Directorate of Adventure, Air Headquarters, New Delhi organized an Ultra Marathon covering a distance of 574 Kms.    At its Adampur leg, the Ultra Marathon team was flagged off by Air Commodore SK Mohlah, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Adampur on 11 Sep 15.    A number of air warriors of Air Force Station, Adampur accompanied the Marathon team up to distances of 14 & 21 Kms.

The Ultra Marathon commenced at Pathankot on 10 Sep 15 and will culminate at Air Force Station Hindon on 19 Sep 15.    A team of 7 volunteer air warriors will be covering the distance of 574 Kms from Pathankot to Hindon by running an average of 50 to 55 Kms per day.
