DC felicitates toppers of class 12th, exhorts them to dream big

Ludhiana, May 2, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Thursday felicitated five top-performing students of the 12th grade from Ludhiana, including Punjab's first rank holder, in her office on Thursday. The five students who were felicitated include Ekampreet Singh (Punjab's first rank holder) from BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur, Chetna Rani Nayak (second rank), Farleen Kaur, Sneha Verma (bot fourth rank holders) (all three from Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri), and Anchal Jindal (sixth rank holder) from Government Senior Secondary School, Mundian Kalan. They were presented with appreciation certificates.

After the felicitation ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the students and praised their achievements. She also lauded their teachers and parents for their support. The Deputy Commissioner encouraged the students to aim high and remain focused on their goals. She advised them not to be discouraged by failures as they are the pillars of success.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged those who were 18 years old to exercise their right to franchise on June 1 when voting will take place in the Lok Sabha elections. She assured them of her full support in their future endeavours.
