`Before publishing our research paper, we should first accurately check current status and reputation of that journal’: Dr Nailwal

Jalandhar, May 6, 2018: Faculty Development Programme based on the quality of research and research journals was organized in Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar with the motto of personality development of faculty. Dr.Kewal Krishan Nailwal from department of Mathematics highlighted a very important point about the research journals listed under UGC. He said that before publishing our research paper, we should first accurately check the current status and reputation of that journal and should also be acquainted with the critical reviews of experts. This will assure us if that journal still enjoys the credibility of UGC or not.
He also told his audience that for the overall growth of college, it is important to do research according to the criteria set by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework). Principal Dr. Sucharita putting forth her views said that research is an important work especially in teaching profession and that’s why it is important for teachers to be careful while publishing their research work as it will help them to gain grades during their professional growth.
