PU clarified that no examination of any class has been postponed by the University

Chandigarh, May 13, 2015: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh on Tuesday has clarified that no examination of any class has been postponed by the University and all the examinations would be conducted as per the already announced schedule.

Refuting the rumours of postponement, PU Spokesman and Director Public Relations, Vineet Punia informed that PU has taken serious note of the false and fake piece of information which was circulated by some miscreants in various social media in the form of press note of the University. PU is considering all legal options against the culprits, who have spread false rumours of paper postponement, he added. He informed that stern action would be initiated against the culprits for spreading false rumours through whatsapp and social networking websites.

Punia urged the students to always check all such important information from the official PU website www.puchd.ac.in only in the relevant sections of ‘Examination’ or ‘News & Updates’ etc. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
