Progressive Dairy Farmers Association Punjab extend support to AAP

Moga/Chandigarh, April 1, 2016: The office bearers of the largest association of dairy farmers in India, Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (Regd.) Punjab today joined Aam Aadmi Party and extended their support to the party in upcoming state assembly election in 2017.
Thousands of people joined the function at Ajitwal (Moga) today under the leadership of the President of Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (Regd.) Punjab, Daljit Singh Sadarpura. Aam Aadmi Party Punjab co-convener Durgesh Pathak, Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann, Member of Parliament from Faridkot, Prof Sadhu Singh and other member of the party welcomed the Association members in the party fold.
It is important to mention that Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (Regd.) Punjab has around 27000 members in Punjab and is the largest association of dairy farmers in the India. The association organizes international level fairs for the farmers and the dairy farmers every year. The renowned experts of international level and animal health care experts are called to assist the small and large dairy farmers.
The Association organizes monthly technical seminars to provide scientific information to the farmers. Organize seminars, symposia, tours and other meetings for the dissemination of dairy farming.
Talking to media after joining AAP, Daljit Singh Sadarpura, President of PDFA said that the state is under so much debt because of the anti-people policies of Akali Dal-BJP and Congress in the past. Peasantry and other allied areas are continuously ignored by the government. AAP is the only hope for people of Punjab at present as the policies of AAP government in Delhi are people centric and friendly.
Welcoming the PDFA members in party fold, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann said that it is exciting to see that people are coming to party fold every day to save and create new Punjab. The members of PDFA will play a vital role in drafting party policies for the dairy farmers as the members are absolutely in touch with dairy farmers across the state. After coming to the power, AAP will focus on the marketing of milk and milk products throughout India as it will help the farmers to make money and come out of their debt.
