PRESIDENT’S POLICE MEDAL for gallantry for Punjab HC

Chandigarh, January 25, 2013: Head Constable Chamkaur Singh of Punjab Police has been awarded President’s Police Medal for Gallantry on the occasion of Republic Day-2013.

Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota, IPS,  Inspector General of Police, Chandigarh, Punjab and  Santokh  Singh, Inspector, Phillaur, Punjab have been awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

According to a spokesman of the Punjab Police, Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, IPS,  DIG/ Intelligence ,  Chandigarh, Punjab,  Amar Singh Chahal, SSP , Fazilka, Yurinder Singh, SSP, Jalandhar, Gursharan Singh Sandhu, SP, Phillaur, Gurmeet Singh, SP, Bathinda, Amrik Singh Powar,  ADCP-II Amritsar,  Angrej Singh, Inspector, CIA, Jalandhar,  Bimal  Kant, Inspector, Jalandhar, Kuldeep  Singh, Inspector, CIA, Patiala and  Mahesh Kumar, Inspector, Kurali have been awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion.
