Placement Season starts with a bang at GNDEC

Ludhiana, September 6, 2018: The placement season kick started with a bang at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana with one of the mass recruiters M/s Infosys Pvt Ltd visiting the campus for recruitment of engineering graduates. The drive started with the introduction session of the company by M/s Infosys Pvt Ltd. The students were made aware about the prospects in the company. The interview process consisted of various rounds including the preliminary screening aptitude round. The shortlisted candidates from this round were taken for technical interview and the final interview was the HR interview. A total of 82 students were offered the job by the company. Dr.Sehijpal Singh, Principal, GNDEC said that college was making all out efforts to increase the market acceptability of the students. Pf. Gagandeep Singh Sodhi, TPO while congratulating the placed students informed that besides more mass recruiters TCS, Wipro, companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, ShapoorjiPallonji are expected to visit the college campus in near future. The placement drive was supported by Pf. Sachin Bagga, S.Narinder Singh Mankoo, S.Gurpreet Singh and student members of TPO cell.
