PCTE organised a seminar on Emerging Trends in Image Processing

Ludhiana, February 24, 2016: Department of Computer Application, PCTE organised a seminar on Emerging Trends in Image Processing for the students of BCA and MCA. Mr Gurmeet Sharma, CEO, Founder & Technical Director, Eureka Electrosoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd was the leading resource person. He discussed about different approaches to emerging trends and image processing for exploring the latest techniques in a processing MAT LAB. During the seminar different areas were explored from research point of view, this was arranged to fill in the gap between industry and academy.

The seminar helped the students in exploring the world in Image Processing and Enhancement using Fuzzy Logic. The embedded system projects like Balls sorting machine and Moving Robot was also the part of the discussion. Students specially like such project.

Mr. Vishal Sood, Faculty, Information Technology, event organizer said that, the pace of change brought about by new technologies has a significant effect on the way people live, work, and play worldwide. New and emerging technologies challenge the traditional process of teaching and learning, and the way education is managed hence it becomes important for students and teachers to remain updated.

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said, seminars are of great importance and are capable of keeping the students updated with the technologies. The students have to always keep their eyes on what new things are arriving day by day.
