Chandigarh, January 10, 2015: The Technical Education and Industrial Training Department (Technical Education Wing), Punjab, has issued instructions to all the Principals of the institutions attached with the department/Sanctioning Authorities to make sure that Pay Slip from students belonging to the employed families is submitted at the time of applying for scholarships under Post Matric Scholarship schemes for SC/OBC.
According to a spokesperson of the Government, this has been done as per directions of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes Department which has asked all the departments to make sure that sanctioning authorities nominated by the respective departments get pay slips from students of employed families before sanctioning scholarship cases.
