Workshop on telecom conversation & java by TCS at GNE Ludhiana

Ludhiana, January 10, 2015: 'Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)' conducted a workshop on 'Telecom Conversation and testing /scope of JAVA ' in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering on Saturday. The workshop was conducted by Dr Sandeep Agrawal, Varun Saxena and Rajat Sikka from Tata Consultancy Services. 

Dr. Sandeep Agrawal, is with TCS from last 20 years who delivered a talk on Telecom Conservation. 

Varun Saxena, Delivery Assurance Manager/Facilitator and Auditor at TCS bespoke on Quality Assurance and Testing. Over 200 students and the faculty of the college attended the informative and interactive workshop.

The workshop provided an informative insight on the upcoming trends and the challenges being faced by the telecommunication industry and the new projects being undertaken by TCS. It was followed up by a query session which responded well to by the students. It was focused on uplifting the technical skills and know-how of the students so as to make them compatible with the latest trends of the industry.

GNDEC has been connected to TCS since many years and last year it recruited around 90 students from GNDEC. GNDEC has been upgraded to grade B from grade C recently as per the TCS certification. GNDEC is one of the premier institutes for engineering and has produced many skillful professionals over the years.

The effort was highly appreciated by Dr. M.S Saini, Director GNDEC. It took place under the guidance of Dr. K.S Mann(Dean T&P) and  Prof. Hardeep Singh Kang (Coordinator T&P).
