Ludhiana, October 28, 2016: Dr Ramandeep Kaur of the Department of Chemistry bagged the ‘best poster award’ out of her Ph.D research work at the National Conference on Nascent Innovations in Chemical Sciences, held at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur. The poster presentation by Ramandeep Kaur is a part of joint research work by Ramandeep Kaur, S.K. Uppal and Poonam Sharma towards the presentation of a research paper titled, “Production of Xylooligosaccharides from Sugarcane Bagasse and Evaluation of their Prebiotic Potency in vitro”. Dr S.K. Upaal, Head Department of Chemistry congratulated the scientist for this achievement.
