Ludhiana, March 19, 2015: Dr Anjali Sidhu, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has won “Best Paper Award” for the research paper entitled, “Synthesis of novel 7-fluoro-3-susbitututed-1,2,4-triazolo (3,4-b) benzothiazoles capped silver nanoparticles (FTB-AgNPs) as antifungal agent.” She was presented the award during the national conference on “Emerging Trends in Agrinanotcehnology (Agri NANO 2015) held at Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on March 11 and 12. Sharu Kukreja, Alpharaj Mekapogu and Vineet Kumar have also contributed to the research paper. Dr (Mrs) S.K. Uppal, Head, Chemistry, congratulated Dr Sidhu for this achievement.
