Innocentites celebrated Matribhasha Diwas

Jalandhar, February 23, 2015: Matribhasaha Day was observed with great zest and zeal at Innocent Hearts School (GMT and Loharan).  The activities were planned as per the guidelines of CBSE.  We organised various activities for the students. Classes I - II Handwriting Competition, III – Poetry Recitation, IV and V- News paper reading, VI and VII and IX- paragraph writing. A quiz was conducted for Class VIII. The objective behind these activities was to promote the dissemination of mother tongue and create fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world.  The students participated in the activities with great interest which expressed their love and respect for the mother tongue. The teachers also explained the students value and importance of Mother Tongue.
