Ludhiana, June 1, 2017: An awareness camp Gift of Health on childhood obesity was organized in St.Thomas school, Ludhiana by Mrs.Premlata Prakash, Associate Professor and Mrs.Richa Justin Hans, Assistant Professor.
On this occasion, survey was done, exhibition, and BMI (body mass index) was done and an information booklet was distributed to create awareness among parents regarding childhood obesity, causes, prevention and control.
Mr.Samuel, Principal, St Thomas school and Mrs.Ponnama R.Singh, Principal, College of Nursing extended their cooperation for this program.
MSc Nursing students also participated in the program.
College of Nursing appreciated the participation of parents with full enthusiasm and zeal.
