Navratran and Dussehra Celebration at Innokids of Innocent Hearts School

Jalandhar, October 8, 2016: The festivals of Navratran and Dussehra were celebrated with grandeur in the premises of Innokids, pre- primary wing of IHS, Jalandhar. Children appeared adorned in colourful attires and enthused with the spirit of festivity. The sight of “Garba” by the young Innocent Heartians stole the show. They were enlightened with the significance of the festivals by their teachers. A choreography based on the characters of the Ramayana was presented. Innokids Incharge- Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur- G.M.T., Mrs. Alka Arora – Loharan and Mrs. Nitika Kapoor (Cantt. Jandiala Road) shared that the purpose of such activities is to bind the children with the deep roots of our culture and to imbibe ethical values in them. Festivity was in the air at Innokids. Director Principal of the School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati spoke high of the celebration and encouraged the little students to follow the footprints left by Lord Rama and Laxman.
