More than 2500 voters to click selfie collectively in district Ludhiana Jan 30

Ludhiana, January 29, 2017: District Administration,Ludhiana is organising a special voter awareness programme on 30 January at 10 a.m. for the ethical use of voting in the upcoming assembly elections at Indor Stadium on the Pakhowal Road where more than 2500 voters (mostly the first timers) would click selfie with their voter cards. Physically handicapped artists will present cultural programme ‘Miracle on Wheels’ and Gatka team will show the skills of Gatka on this occasion. To inspire and motivate the participants, Chief Election Officer Punjab Sh. V.K.Singh will also be present. Sh. Bhagat told that voters must take their voter cards with them to participate in the programme. Every participant would be awarded with the appreciation letter by the district administration.

Sh. Bhagat further said that efforts are on the way to make voter awareness programme enter in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ and ‘India Book of Records’. Sh. Bhagat urged the people of Ludhiana to take participation and aware voters for the ethical use of voting scheduled on 4 February.
