Jalandhar, January 23, 2015: MGN Rainbow wing celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervor on Friday. Kindergarten students sang patriotic songs followed by a dance filled with the essence of patriotism. Children were dressed in tri-coloured attire to mark the day. MGN Rainbow wing In-charge Deepti Kaushal congratulated the students and told them to feel pride in being Indian.
MGN Rainbow Wing also celebrated Basant Panchami a day marking the onset of Spring and also dedicated to Maa Saraswati with traditional fervor. Children and the entire staff dressed in bright yellow colour signifying brilliance of nature and vibrancy of life.
The School Principal Brinder Badwal and Primary Incharge Kiran Mehta and MGN Rainbow Incharge Deepti Kaushal graced the occasions. The celebrations culminated with the speeches from Upper Kindergarten children with the audience greeting them Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Overall all the day marked by a promise to serve our nation.
