Getting a head start on the career front, MBA students from Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA), Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, have received 614 job offers with attractive pay packages from premium recruiters in Banking and Finance, FMCG, Retail, Telecom, E-Commerce, Automotive, Business Consulting and IT sectors. Rs 14 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA) was the highest pay package offered with Rs 5.25 LPA being the average package offered.
More than 130 corporates including HDFC Bank, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., ITC Ltd., Deloitte, Hyundai, Axis Bank, Think and Learn Pvt Ltd. (Byju’s the learning App), IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj, Naukri.com, Everest Industries Ltd., LG Electronics, JK Tyre and Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Asahi India Glass Ltd., Vardhman Textiles Ltd. among others, conducted joint placement drives at CGC Landran.
Forecast by experts and industry reports on hiring trends project a promising future for management post graduates. India Skills report 2018 shows high demand for MBA pass outs in diverse sectors including manufacturing, consumer goods and the like. Aviation, banking and finance, logistics & supply chain, business analytics, power, oil and gas are some other industries that would principally offer bright avenues to job aspirants possessing an MBA degree.
Additionally, they can also start their own business ventures/start-ups boosting the economy.
