Ludhiana, September 1, 2019: Life Insurance Corporation of India has completed its glorious 63 years of its incorporation today.
LIC has played a significant role in spreading life insurance among the masses and mobilization of people’s money for people’s welfare.
As a part of Insurance Week Celebrations, today, Ludhiana Division has organized a marathon called as Bima Jagrookta Marathan.
While inaugurating the marathon, Dawa Ram, Marketing Manager told that all employees, children, policyholders and agents of all age groups have taken in this marathon.
Dawa Ram added that this marathon was started from Divisional Office Dugri and covered the area of Phase-I, II, Durga Mata Mandir alongwith adjoining area.
He said the purpose behind this Bima Jagrookta Marathon was to spread the message of Insurance among the people of Ludhiana.
He explained that today LIC is having more than 29 crore policyholders and fulfilling its objectives which were laid down at the time of its Nationalization in 1956.
