Kapurthala, January 26, 2019: 70th Republic Day was celebrated today with great enthusiasm in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. The function was held at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Stadium, where Shri S.P.Trivedi, General Manager, RCF unfurled the National Flag.Thereafter, he inspected the Platoons of the Railway Protection Force, St.John Ambulance Brigade, Bharat Scouts & Guides, NCC and School Platoons.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Manager said that RCF has manufactured two rakes of the most modern and convenient “Tejas” and one rake will be prepared and dispatched next month. Four rakes of “Hamsafar” train with AC three-tier coaches have been despatcned and one rake will be dispatched next month. Adding more features, the manufacturing of UDAY double-decker coaches is in fast progress and its two rakes will be ready in the next two months. The manufacture of the special 'Buddhist Circuit' rake on the lines of the Maharaja Express Tourist Train, operated by the IRCTC was the major achievement in the recent past. Media has given plenty of coverage to this rake, which has 12 coaches. . These coaches were made according to the requirements of IRCTC so that the tourists traveling is more enjoyable. Shri Trivedi said that RCF has the expectations of the entire Indian Railways and RCF is committed to building the best quality coaches while meeting their needs.
On the occasion, Dr Jyoti Trivedi, President RCF WWO felicitated the brilliant students who excelled in 10+2 Exams.
Gathered Audience enjoyed the richness of the cultural program which touched the heart of all the people present. Shri S.P. Trivedi, , Dr. Jyoti Trivedi, President, RCF WWO and all the officers visited Lala Lajpat Rai and wished the patients good health and offered fruits and sweets to them. All the members of the women's welfare organization were present on this occasion.
It should be known that two days ago, a 100ft high national flag was set up in RCF, which was hoisted by the seniormost staff of the RCF family. This voice was established in less than a month's time.
On this occasion, the Admn Building , All Chowks of RCF, and Lake Campus were illuminated with a magnificent lighting.
