HEALTH MINISTER BRAHM MOHINDRA TO DISTRIBUTE DEBT RELIEF CERTIFICATES TO FARMERS
LUDHIANA, MAY 8, 2018: The stage is all set of its one of an ambitious initiative by state government to bail out its peasantry from the debt trap as health and family welfare minister Brahm Mohindra would give a debt relief of worth Rs 88.02 crore to 13069 farmers of Ludhiana on May 9.
On Monday, the additional deputy commissioner (G) Iqbal Singh Sandhu gave the final touch to the arrangements for the event which is being organized at Guru Nanak Bhawan. He finalized all the modalities at the venue besides the other arrangements for the event. He said that the participation of the people from different walks of life is expected on this program. He reviewed all the arrangements made for the convenience of people in the program by the various departments of the district administration which would begin at 11 am.
He stated the all eligible farmers would be facilitated as per the government's guidelines and no eligible farmer would be left out from the debt relief.
On the occasion, Ludhiana (West) SDM Damanjeet Singh Mann, Deputy Registrar Gurdit Singh, District Manager Co-Operative Societies Davinder Singh and others were present.
