Ludhiana Breaking News- Representatives of Punjab Government hold meeting with industrialists regarding pending industrial issues

Punjab government representatives' holding a meeting with industrialists regarding pending industrial issues at Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, December 6, 2014: Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, Minister for Education Punjab, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Minister for PWD & Irrigation, Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, Advistor to the  Chief Minister, Punjab and Ranjit Singh Dhillon, MLA held a meeting with a delegation of the Industrialists of Ludhiana to understand the pending issues of the industry.  The delegation was led by Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU).
 
The issues discussed were providing of more than one electricity connection in one premises, revision of medium of power connection limit, refund of VAT, setting up of an electroplating cluster for small scale units, setting up of new focal point and an exhibition centre for the industries.
 
The high dignitaries well understood all the problems and assured the industrialists that they will present the issues before the Deputy Chief Minister and the Chief Minister, Punjab to get them resolved at the earliest.
 
The members of delegation seemed to be quite hopeful to get their problems resolved.  The prominent Industrialists of the Delegation who participated the meeting were Manjit Singh Khalsa, Vice President, CICU, Inderjit Nagpal, Subhash Gupta, Inderjit Singh Navyug, Pradeep Wadhawan, Didarjit Singh Lotey, Manjit Singh G.P. and  Kulwant Singh.
