LEADING FLORICULTURIST DELIVERS A TALK AT PAU

Ludhiana, April 10, 2018: Mr Avtar Singh Dhindsa, a leading consultant and an exporter of flower and vegetable seeds, delivered a talk at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). Mr Dhindsa, an alumnus of PAU, started his career as a Landscape Consultant and is presently looking after the production and export of flower and vegetable seeds in the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, etc. The School of Business Studies (SBS) had organized the talk, which was attended by faculty and students of SBS.

Mr Avtar Singh enlightened the audience about innovative practices in farming and encouraged them to develop entrepreneurial mindset. He shared his global experiences and motivated the students to take-up live projects, especially, around innovative products and practices in commercial farming. He also apprised the audience of his interactions with various eminent personalities, entrepreneurs and experts in the area of commercial farming. He stressed on the importance of ethical business practices for being a successful entrepreneur.

Students enthusiastically interacted with the speaker. Dr Pratibha Goyal, Director, School of Business Studies, while proposing a vote of thanks, appreciated the enlightening talk by Mr Avtar Singh.
