Dr. (Mrs.) Neeraj Sharma, Head Department of Sanskrit, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar who was presented Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award by Global Society for Health and Educational Growth, New Delhi with the college principal.

Jalandhar, October 10, 2015: Dr.(Mrs.) Neeraj Sharma, Head Department of Sanskrit, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar was presented Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award by Global Society for Health and Educational Growth, New Delhi on the occasion of National Seminar on International Achievement and National Development.” The award was presented to Dr.Neeraj Sharma in recognition of her sterling merit, excellent performance and outstanding contribution for the progress of the nation and world. The Principal of KMV Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the achievement of Dr. Neeraj Sharma and said that it is a well deserved honour since Dr. Neeraj is a very hardworking committed and dedicated teacher, and the Dept. has achieved new heights with the innovative programmes the conducts from time to time. Dr. Neeraj Sharma expressed her gratitude to all her teachers, faculty members and Sh. Chander Mohan (President Arya Shiksha Mandal), Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi and all the members of the Managing Committee on her achievement.
Dr. (Mrs.) Neeraj Sharma has two books to her credit and  a large member of research papers in National and international journals. Dr. Neeraj is Member, Board of Studies, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Life Member All India Oriental Conference, Pune, Director Vedic Research Centre KMV. She organised four week yoga classes in collaboration with Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan, New Delhi. She has UGC Research Project (Minor) to her credit. Dr. Neeraj has acted as Resource person at various national and international conferences and was invited as resource person (invited talk) at All India Radio, Jalandhar.
