KMV outshines in inter-zonal youth festival 2019, bags winner trophy in giddha and phulkari

Jalandhar, November 19, 2019: KMVites displayed extraordinary talent in the Inter-zonal Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. KMVites in remarkable performances bagged 1st position in Giddha & also bagged 1st position in Phulkari. Team KMV also bagged 3rd position in Western Group Song. Ms Ravita of M.Sc. Fashion Designing has been bagging outstanding position in zonal & inter-zonal youth festival in Phulkari for the last four years. The Giddha team had also won 1st position in zonals and become champion in inter-zonals. Ms Pardeep Kaur & Ms Harmandeep Kaur were adjudged 2nd & 3rd dancer in Giddha. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the achievers for their brilliant achievement. She averred that KMV provides the most suitable ambience to the students for the holistic development of their personality & this victory is the manifestation of hard work & dedication put up by the students & the teachers. She further maintained that exposure through such competitions enhance the personality of students and build their confidence. She also lauded the efforts of Dr Gurjot, Dean ECA & the whole ECA team for their whole hearted and committed dedication towards the preparation of various items.
