KMV Organises Guided Tours For The New Entrants

Jalandhar, July 6, 2015: K.M.V Department of Student Welfare organized guided tours for the new entrants to facilitate them to know their institution better. The senior students took the junior students in groups of 30 around the sprawling campus of this Heritage Institution thus acquainting them with the various landmarks and buildings of K.M.V. The students were familiarized with the various Depts, Hall of Fame, Student Development Centre,  Gym,  Dept. of Student Welfare, Gandhian Studies Centre, Springs Student Centre, Mess, Auditorium, Devraj Hall, Prayaas the KMV outlet, Veer Aastha Bhawan, Conference Hall and answered their queries satisfactorily. Prof. Dr.Atima Sharma, Principal K.M.V. averred that this practice is a regular annual feature in K.M.V. It plays a pivotal role in making students develop a bounding with their institution and one another. It helps them take pride in their institution. K.M.V. with its scenic environment, fountains, Lush green lawns abounding in peacocks is a feast for the eyes. The state of the art infrastructure of K.M.V. is also very inviting. She lauded Dr.Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare, Mrs.Rashmi Shrma, Dr.Neetu and Dr.Anshu Oberoi for organizing the tours meticulously.
