Business Should Be Based On Principles: Floriculture Expert

Ludhiana, July 14, 2015: “Business should be always based on principles while maintaining the ethics, otherwise you can’t play long in the market,” stated S Avtar Singh Langrian, a successful entrepreneur while delivering his talk at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today. S Singh, who is engaged in floriculture business and exports all his produced seed across the world, interacted with the participants of the on-going “Summer School on Entrepreneurship Development Programme” at PAU. He said, “Every person has some unique talent which needs to be explored. To become a successful entrepreneur, the first success mantra is “do it yourself.” Impressing upon the farmers to work in the fields, he said this is the only doing which leads to learning. Participants will be visiting Mr Langrian’s farm to see different operations of floriculture enterprise. It may be mentioned that Mr Langrian has also acted as a member of Board of Management of PAU.

Dr R.K. Kalra, Professor-cum-Head, Extension Education and the Course Director said the participants from all over India are getting informative and practical knowledge during the interactive sessions. Today, six lectures were delivered by renowned academicians and scientists, she added.
