Jalandhar, December 8, 2015: Faculty Development Programme for “Online Smart Classes” was organised in the premises of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. KMV has a number of smart class rooms to conduct smart classes successfully in campus since five years. This initiative was taken by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi and our smart class coordinator DR. Neetu Chopra with Educomp. Smart classes. This initiative to conduct online smart classes which is a 21st century e-learning platform is very essential for the present competitive scenario. The speaker on the occasion was Mr. Nikhil Mehta, Divisional Manager, Educomp. He stated that teachers can plan lesson anytime, anywhere and at any place and can record, access and report the performance of students with the use of Educomp. Faculty can share assignments, message, events etc. on the wall about updates. It will be easy to communicate with parents, students, teachers and administration through this online program. Such technology will create a new opening for the educational sector. In all 51 teachers attended this programme which will be very beneficial for the students.
