KMV, Jalandhar's Gandhian Studies Centre organising Satya Ki Aur.
Jalandhar, December 18, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s Gandhian Studies Centre organised a festival title “ Stya Ki Aur” which was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi’s famous love fro Truth. Various competitions, based on the theme of the festival like Quiz Competition, Slogan writing Competition, patriotic Songs Competition were held during the day.
These competition were for the ‘Primary Wing’ of Sanskriti KMV School. The spirit behind the festival was to acquaint the young students with India’s rich patriotic heritage and to inculcate the spirit of ‘Nationalism’ among them Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the enthusiasm of the students. She stressed that there was great need to highlight the value of the contribution of the great leaders from India’s past in shaping the ‘ Future of India’. She congratulated Dr. Monica Sharma for making sincere efforts for spreading ‘ The Gandhian Values’ amongst the children. Ms. Vainika, Drishti, Aryan and Lakshya won prizes in the Patriotic Song category. Sare, Gumi, Simran and Arav won prizes in the Quiz Competition. Mrs. Honey was the co-ordinator of the programme. Mrs. Shweta, Mrs. Anu Dhamija, Ms Sheena and Anu Sharma, Staff of the Primary Wing of the School make valuable contribution towards the organisation of the programme.
