Khanna, October 1, 2015: Khanna District Police claimed to have solved a blind murder case in which a body of a person was found without head some days ago at famous Gurdwara Sahib Rara Sahib. 
Stating about it SP(D) Khanna Satinderpal Singh gave information that after information the police had recovered a body from a cooler of room no 80 of Gurdwara Sahib on September 29. He said that after registering a case under section 302, 34 IPC the police started investigation of this case under a special team comprising of DSP Payal, SHO Payal and CIA Incharge Khanna. After investigation the body was traced to be of Raghvir Singh a resident of Jagraon. He stated that later it was established that this murder was allegedly done by Tarlok Singh and his brother Sewak Singh both residents of Badhni Kalan. 
SP said that after questioning of the both alleged accused it came to know that the deceased Raghvir wanted to become Chief Sewadar of Gurdwara Sahib Chak Bhaike Raikot and the alleged accused Tarlok Singh also have the same wish. Due to this Tarlok Singh along with his brother Sewak Singh murdered Raghvir Singh in room no 76 of the Gurdwara and put his body in a cooler outside room no 80. In order to keep his identity undisclosed the alleged accused cut his head and took away his head along with his clothes and threw it in a canal near Rara Sahib. 
As per SP the police had recovered the Bolero vehicle of the deceased from the alleged accused along with his identity card, sharp edged weapon used to murder the deceased and the upper portion head of the deceased from the canal. He said that they have arrested the alleged accused today and they will be presented in a court tomorrow.
