Kavita Katha Karvan held poetic session, dedicated to Gandhi, Shastri and other martyrs

Ludhiana, October, 3, 2019: A poetry session was organized by the literary body Kavita Katha Karvan (Regd) at the Art Gallery of local Punjabi Bhavan, wherein well-known poets Rajender Rajan, Danish Bharti, Neelu Bagga, Jyoti Bajaj, Varinder Jaitwani, Hardip Virdi, A.P.Maurya, were among those who enthralled the audience with their latest compositions on Gandhi and Shastri -centric themes. Dr Rajinder Singh Sahil, was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Vibha Kumaria, Rashmi Asthana, Sagar Syalkoti, and Jaspreet Kaur Falak were in the Presidium. Students from different colleges and schools also graced the occasion and enthralled the audience with their renditions on the theme of patriotism ad tribute to martyrs. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sahil expressed the need to promote patriotism among our youth. He said that the participation in literary events will chisel their creativity through interaction with renowned litterateurs. He presented a few copies of his book “ Theesar Mausam” for the library of Kavita Katha Karvan”. The President of Kavita Katha Karvan (Regd), Jaspreet Kaur Falak thanked all poets and participating students and said that the tradition of holding poetry sessions dedicated to our martyrs will continue in future. The programme was anchored by Shahid Khanna in his poetic style. All participating students with recitation of their new compositions wee awarded certificates.
