Kanya Maha Vidyalaya ushers in New Session with Star College Status Celebrations

Jalandhar, July 5, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage and Autonomous institution, Jalandhar ushersed in the new session with Star College Status Celebrations. This much coveted Star Status has been conferred by DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology, GoI.
Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal, KMV averred that KMV is the only college in the part of the region which has been awarded the prestigious Star College Status. This rare honour was awarded to KMV due to excellent performance under Star College Scheme like student projects, interdisciplinary projects, Inter college competitions, faculty development programmes, student-student mentoring and other extension activities. The college faculty especially the science faculty congratulated KMV Principal and expressed gratitude for guiding them with her exemplary vision and hingsight. Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal also lauded the KMV faculty in general and Science faculty in particular for having worked with diligence, hard work and commitment for achieving Star College Status. It is worth a mention here that while awarding the Star Status the authorities appreciated KMV for addition of new practicals for each department interdisciplinary activities, inter college competitions via social media for the benefit of the students etc. Thus the commencement of session was the right occasion to celebrate this glorious achievement.
