Kabbadi players mourn killings of school kids in Pakistan
Mehta Chowk (Amritsar)/Chandigarh, December 17, 2014: Two minute silence was observed here during the league matches of 5th world cup kabbadi to mourn the killings of school kids who were killed last day by terrorists in the city Peshawar, Pakistan.
Pakistan Team Manager Mohd Vakas Akbar and player Akmal Dogar declared this incidence inhuman and said that this should be condemned by all. They said that this act of terrorist showed their cowardness and Pakistan Kabbadi team was all with the families of the victims of this monstrous act.
During introduction session with players of Pakistan and Argentina, Baljit Singh Jalalusma, MLA, Veer Singh Lopoke, Chairman district planning board and former minister Capt Balbir Singh Bath observed silence for 2 minutes along with players and audience to mourn this heinous act and prayed almighty to give peace to the departed souls.
Meanwhile, the players of Pakistan Kabbadi team demonstrated their anguish by wearing black bands while playing their matches.
