ISACON 2016 enters third day in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, November 28, 2016: The third day of ISACON 2016 started with ‘Teaching skills in Anaesthesiology’ followed by lecture on ‘Research & Perioprative Ethical dilemmas’. Where a wonderful discussion went how the research should be done in an ethical manner. The high five IJA session was attended by large number of anaesthesiologists where five best paper were discussed in the various subspecialty of anaesthesiology such as cardiac anaesthesia, Neuroanaesthesia, critical care the session ended with panel discussion. Preparation of various international anaesthesiology examinations was also discussed during a session by several international faculty. The major focus today was safety, enhancing the quality in operation room and prevention of infection. There were interesting sessions on use of Robotics and advances in perioperative anaesthesia care, Oncoanesthesia & Palliative Medicine. Besides this for trainee anaesthesiologists papers were presented in various award categories. Dr Sunil Katyal Organizing secretary said that these sessions will definitely help the participants to improve their skills and practices. In the afternoon session a general body meeting of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologist was addressed by Dr AS KAmeshwararao President ISA, Dr Venkatagiri Secretary ISA and other office bearers including Dr Naveen Malhotra. Dr Anju Grewal scientific chairperson & Dr Vivek Gupta co scientific chairperson said Anaesthesia Update Book which was published and distributed during this conference for the first time contains chapters from various authors of national & international repute and will provide useful guide for the practicing anaesthesiologists.
