Hyderabad, December 26, 2015: ACT Fibernet Skyfest 2015, the Hyderabad’s biggest carnival has been witnessing a steady stream of visitors. It has drawn an incredible response on every day with fun unlimited. It is bound to be a festival that the citizens of Hyderabad will be looking forward to in the years to come.
We are glad to share with you the fact that the Sonu Nigam Concert scheduled for today too is fully sold out.
As the curtains come down on the Skyfest 2015 the organizing committee wanted to make the Sunday event a memorable closure to the festival by extending a non-stop 8 hours of fun offer with a single entry ticket giving access to all the activities except the tethered balloon rides which are completely sold out on line.
The Fun Sunday package for ACT Fibernet Skyfest 2015 entry donor passes will be priced as follows - single entry @ Rs 200/- for children and 500/- for adults. This means the visitors to the fest will get access to the Skyfest carnival , the Para jumping by IAF , the musical evening with Smita Pop and RP Patnaik followed by the Block buster Mahesh Babu Movie Srimanthudu to be screened under a moonlight open air ambience all with just one entry ticket per person.
The Devi Sri Prasad concert held yesterday was a huge hit with the audience.
ACT Fibernet Skyfest 2015, the biggest ever fund rising activity held in the city in the recent past has now become the buzz of the town. The proceeds of the Fest will be used for Sparsh Hospice run by the Rotary Club of Banjara Hills charitable trust which provides palliative care to terminally ill patients has been in existence for the past 7 years. It has been offering free services to the patients and their families. It is one of its kinds of services in India. It is the initiative of Rotary Club of Banjara Hyderabad.
The festival wouldn’t have been so successful but for the encouraging government and their unstinted support for the same.
Hundreds of people who worked for the fest have put in together a fantastic show.
The show has many firsts to its credit. It has offered to the people of city the first time experience of Hot Air Balloon Ride, both safari (long ride) and joy ride. Hundreds of people have utilized this unique opportunity.
It is for the first time, at least in our city people got an opportunity to witness Para Jumping thanks to the Ministry of Defense, who has readily agreed to the request of K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Chief Minister of our state.
Akash Ganga team of the Indian Air Force has put up an excellent show.
The Para Jumping venue was shifted on Friday from inside the stadium to open air venue for good. People on Friday had better view of the dare devil act of sky jumping by 7 IAF’s Akash Ganga Pilots.
Carnival experience is again new thing to the city. The entire street is decked up to give look and feel of carnival experience together with several carnival artists performing and adding to the fun at the fest.
