Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal  being honoured at the CREDAI Conclave 2015 at New Delhi on Thursday.

New Delhi, December 17, 2015: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal Khattar said that a third category ‘Nagar Panchayat’ would be created for the villages of Haryana having population 10-20 thousand and those which do not want to come under Municipal Committees. Nagar Panchayats would make arrangement for sewerage, water, roads and electricity, he added.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Conclave Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) organized at New Delhi today. He said that coordinated efforts are needed to fulfill the aim of ‘houses for all’ and it is not possible for a single agency or the government to make availability of houses for one and all. He said that it is the dream Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi that by the year 2022, when we will celebrate our 75th Independence Day, every family of our country should have its own home. For this, the State Government is taking concrete steps and in this direction we have also made amendments in our affordable housing policy, he added.
The Chief Minister said that new integrated licensing policy – 2015 has been made for the overall development of licensed colonies falling under urban areas of Gurgaon-Manesar, Faridabad-Ballabhgarh, Sohna, Dharuhera, Sonipat-Kundli, Panipat and Panchkula-Kalka Pinjore. He said that with the hike in property rates in Gurgaon and Faridabad, the builders were not able to purchase 100 acres of land in one go and more over the small farmers were also feeling as if they were being cheated upon. Therefore, arrangements have been made to issue TDR Certificates to the farmers.
Mr Manohar Lal said that it is our objective to create more than 4 lakh employment opportunities in the State and to attract investment over Rs. 1 lakh crore. Effective measures are being taken to encourage tourism in the states. Haryana has a lot of scope for development as our national capital Delhi is surrounded by Haryana from three sides. The Chief Minister said that construction of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway is under progress and within next six months work from Palwal to Manesar would be complete and tenders have already been given for Kundli to Manesar. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
