Investiture Ceremony at Ivy World School

Jalandhar, May 25, 2015: The investiture ceremony is one of the first momentous occasions of any school where the newly elected and selected members of the school’s senate are officially vested with their powers and positions. Ivy World School, Jalandhar held its Investiture Ceremony at the school premises to bestow the deserving students with the responsibility of leading the school from front. Brig. Ajay Sharma (Brigadier-EME, 11 Corps) was the Chief Guest of the event. The students who were selected for various positions include Head Boy -Harmanroop Singh Dadhra, Head Girl - HarjotKaur, Deputy Head Boy -Sidharth Bajaj. Captains and Prefects were also sworn in at the glittering function. The house responsibilities of all four houses were formally handed over to the following students - Achievers House- Samarjit Singh Bajwa (Captain), Diya Arora (Vice Captain), RyannneKazmi (Prefect), AyushThapa(Junior Prefect). Champion House –NavneetKaur(Captain),Jaspartap Singh(Vice Captain), SukhdevChibber(Prefect)and  Umied(Junior Prefect). Victors House- Ritu Yadav(Captain), SukhmaniKooner(Vice Captain), ParnikaVaid(Prefect), Dhananjay(Junior Prefect).Winners House- Amandip Singh (Captain), InayatVasal (Vice Captain), ShivaangMadaan (Prefect), Pratham Arora (Junior Prefect).

The other three appointments includeSports Captain- Ishaan Singh, Academic Prefect -Arjot Singh Rai and Cultural Prefect - Parthveer Singh.

The students took the oath of allegiance and loyalty towards the school, their teachers and fellow students. They promised to uphold the prestige of the school and take it forward from strength to strength through their hard work and commitment.

The new appointees were proud and solemn, resplendent in their smart uniforms and badges as theChief Guest encouraged them to dream big and turn them a reality by giving their best in whatever they do. It was a proud moment for all Ivyians.
