Jalandhar, October 9, 2015: A visit to the head post office, Jalandhar was made by the students of Ryan International School, Jalandhar to mark the World Postal Day. Under the noble guidance of our respected Chairman Sir, Dr.Augustine Pinto, Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto, CEO Mr.Ryan Pinto & the school head Ms.Jeevan Jyoti. Students from classes I-III visited the head post office. The deputy post master Ms. Mahesh Kumari guided the students regarding the functioning of the post office. Different types stamps were shown & various sections of the post office were visited by the students to get the clear functioning of the post office. This visit imparted sheer knowledge of postal services to the students.
On the same day the students of class IV participated in the stamp collage making activity. The students of V & VI participated in post card writing & letter writing activity respectively. Certificates were awarded to all the participants.
