Students participate in Inter House Maths Quiz Competition at Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar on Friday.
Jalandhar, December 19, 2014: Sanskriti KMV School continuing with the celebration of GANIT week, conducted the Inter House Maths Quiz Competition for classes IX-XII.
The event dedicated to the contribution of Srinivasa Ramanujan, was highly motivating and competitive for the houses Amber, Pawan,Avni and Pawak. Focusing on the mental ability, reasoning, accuracy and speed, the contest gave an excellent exposure to the students to get a good hold over the subject. Avni House students Mankirat Kaur, Porush Bhandari, Naman Aryan and Simran Choudhary were the winners of the Quiz. Classes VII-VIII took an initiative to pen down their views on “Role of Mathematics in Daily Life”.
School Principal Rachna Monga commenting on the platform given by CBSE, appreciated the efforts of the Mathematics Department and participation of the students in the GANIT events.
