Ludhiana, October 20, 2014: The most awaited festival of Indians Diwali was celebrated with zeal & fervor at the premises of BCM, Dugri, Ludhiana.
Various activities for different classes were organised for the festivities. The students of primary classes had a rangoli making competition and toran making competitions divided in groups the students made beautiful colorful rangolis and torans outside their classes. The senior students had a poster making & candle making competition. The posters carrying the slogans `Brust your ego not crackers’, `Let’s celebrate pollution free Diwali’, `Revive the traditions & have a bright Diwali’ etc adorned the display boards in the school. The tiny tots didn’t stay behind either they decorated the candles & divas.
A lecture was delivered to the students discouraging them from bursting crackers.
The School Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi wished Happy Diwali to all her students and made them pledge to have a swachh and green Diwali to contribute their bit in the cleanliness of the nation.
