Jalandhar, July 30, 2019: Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar sets a benchmark in education with better performances each year which is clearly reflected in the results of Semester II and Semester IV (May – 2019) GNDU B.Ed Examination.

Innocent Hearts College of Education has achieved 7 merit positions (Semester IV) at the University level which is the maximum number in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The meritorious students – Ankita Khera and Amrit Arora achieved first position in the college with 80% marks, Komal Sahi bagged second position with 79.2% marks, Ravneet Kaur attained third position with 79.11% marks, Swati Verma stood fourth with 79.05% marks and Diksha Trehan as well as Chandni Kapoor bagged fifth position with 78.1% marks. 100% student-teachers grabbed First division and 33% student-teachers achieved distinctions.

The Semester II result is appreciable too, analyzing this result it was found that out of 43 student-teachers, 41 student-teachers grabbed First division and 22 student-teachers achieved distinctions. Nishitha Chopra and Rijul achieved merit positions at University level. Priyanka Tandon bagged first position, Rijul stood second and Charu Kakkar got third position in the college. Priyanka Tandon attributed her success to her husband, parents, teachers and the environment of the college. She said, “My aim is to become a successful teacher. I specially thank my husband, my teachers and my parents for their endless support.” Rijul said “Achieving the second position means a lot to me because I prepared really hard for the examination. It would be wrong to take all the credit myself because that way I would be ignoring the efforts put in by my teachers and family. I am so blessed to have diligent and motivating teachers.”

The members of Management, Principal and Faculty members congratulated the student-teachers for their brilliant achievements. All the student-teachers were very happy with their result.
