`Langer' being served to celebrate Bhagwan Valmiki Jayanti by Staff of I.K.Gujral-PTU.
Jalandhar, October 21, 2015: I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University celebrated Bhagwan Valmiki Jayanti on Wednesday with full enthusiasm and devotion. Because of holidays, the University staff celebrated this day in advance. In the Morning at 10 a.m., the celebration started with the Path of Bhagwan Valmiki and Akhand Jyoti was lighted. Registrar of the University Dr. Amanpreet Singh was present on this occassion. He said that that we should follow the path shown by these great Gurus, so that peace is maintained in the world.
On this occassion, Vice Chancellor of the University and Secretary Technical Education I.A.S. Rakesh Verma sent his good wishes on Bhagwan Valmiki Jayanti. He congratulated the University staff on this auspicious day. Langwar was also organised on this day.
